There are a few new tour date announcements for Stuart A solo:

  • May 31st, The Sugar Club, Dublin (link)
  • June 24th, Cabaret Sauvage, La Villette, Paris (part of a small festival, apparently - have a look here and here)

and please bear in mind that none of these dates are "official" as in cited on tindersticks.co.uk or luckydog.nu, just announced on some website or other (there does not seem to be any "official" source for Stuart's tour dates). The shows might still be subject to change or be canceled or whatever.

Stuart Staples is going to release his new solo album, "Leaving Songs", on May 29th. It's been recorded in Nashville with Mark Nevers from Lambchop, and it's going to feature guest appearances from Lhasa "Sometimes it Hurts" de Sela and Maria McKee. Judging from the new songs that Stuart played in his latest solo shows, it's probably going to sound a lot like earlier Tindersticks again. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, of course.
